By Train:

You can either take a cab from the main railway station (which will take approx. 15 minutes) or use public transport (approx. 20 minutes): take any S-Bahn train in the direction of Pasing (except line 7) and get off at Laim. From there take the bus No. 41 (in the Olympiazentrum direction) as far as the Schloss Nymphenburg stop. There you get off, cross the street as well as the bridge and proceed along the left side of the canal in the direction of the palace. At the end of the street turn left – the Schweisfurth Foundation is the first house on the left.

Taking streetcar No. 17 is even easier (in the Amalienburgstrasse direction): You can board either at the southern or the northern end of the main railway station. Once you get off at Nymphenburg, follow the above directions.

By Plane:

Munich Airport is situated outside of the town of Erding. From there you can take S-Bahn No. 1 as far as Laim. From there you follow the directions listed above under the Train heading. You can also take No. 8 as far as the main railway station and proceed from there as described above.

Total transfer time from the airport to the foundation is approximately 60 to 70 minutes.
